MECHANISM
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a carbohydrate molecule that is naturally occurring in the human's body. It is a critical component in maintaining moisture level for the skin. HA is a humectant, which means it draws moisture from the surrounding environment to keep the skin hydrated and fresh. 1 gram of HA can retain up to 6 liters of water. However, HA is also "smart" enough to keep the skin hydrated without drowing it! Other than hydration, HA also has antioxidant properties to protect the skin from the environment, sun exposure and harsh chemicals; which makes it a perfect anti-aging ingredient.

Skincare after the injection
- After the injection, the injected area can get a bit red or slightly swollen. You can apply make-up after 2 - 3 hours. However, you cannot rub or tug at your skin too hard.

- NO lying down or working out for the first 3 hours after the injection. NO going to the sauna, taking a bot bath or sunbathing for the first 4 hours after the injection to avoid bruising.

- Minimize sun exposure and apply sunscreen with SPF30 or above.

- Use face wash and moisturizer that are gentle on the skin and suitable for sensitive skin.
